Default Danby: compressor stops after 10-15 sec
Model Number: D740 W/TGE   Brand: -brand-   Age: 5 - 10 years

My refrigerator has this problem that I noticed two days ago. The thermostat will turn on the compressor, but this stops after 10-20 seconds. I still hear some noise after the compressor stops, like a fun running. After some time the refrigerator makes a click and after this everything is quiet ( the fun is not running any more ).
If I unplug the power line, let it for a few moments and plug it back, the compressor will run normal for the first time, but only for the first time.
I opened the box attached to the compressor, and there are only wire connections. On the compressor socket I have a part. no. P6R8MC GS9401, attached to the compressor with on two pins.
What could be the problem, is it the compressor or this PTC assembly P6R8MC?
The compressor is a Goldstar with the inscriptions:

VC62 ACG
R12 117V 60Hz 1PH LRA13

I verified with a digital ohmmeter the terminal from the compressor. Common with left side (start winding) is 10.5 ohm and common with right side (run) is 6.9 ohm. I did the same with the overload, its contacts shown 0 ohm. Is there a way I could test the start relay?

Thanks
