I just received a new Maytag washer timer from you. It will not advance. It will fill, and then agitate or spin until I manually advance the timer.I know that my old timer was bad, it would stop completely during a cycle, until I gently pushed on the timer stem.I I have just read here on the repair forum of someone else having the same problem with a Maytag . Did I receive a bad timer? Can the timer be wired differently than my old one? The electrical pins that the timer motor connect to are in a different location on the new timer. do not know if that could be the problem.
