Ice Dispenser
Model Number: PSS26MGTAWW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My father's GE PSS26MGTAWW Ice Dispenser quit working recently afer he pressed the ice lever for a looooooong time with no ice coming out. Now, the ice dispenser makes no noise at all when you press the ice lever and the refrigerator motor actually stops. The water dispenser still works, but the dispenser light dims when you press the water lever. From what I have read, it seems that the main board has to be replaced. Is it possible that another part will have to be replaced also? Thank you.

It could be anything from the dispenser switch to the auger motor itself. Some troubleshooting may have to be done after the board is replaced.
