Hey Guys. I could use a tad bit of help. I replaced the Damper in this unit last night and this morning the bell housing for the water filter is frozen and cracked. i have found the new part, but what can I do to keep it from just freezing again. We have it set to factory settings at this time (not sure what the wife had it on last night after i went to bed). What should be my next step.
Thanks for any and all help in this matter.

Something you did with the damper is incorrect, OR, you have something obstructing the air flow path and it is deflecting directly on to the water filter, freezing the water, and since water expands as it freezes, it cracks the filter housing. You have to correct whatever you did wrong with the damper.
