My above refrigerator icemaker isn't producing ice. I visited several question and answer sites. One stated that it happened to them and they replaced the water inlet valve. I still have water on the outside of my dispenser working. I ordered the above part and changed the old. however the icemaker still isn't working. I, also, saw a statement telling someone to open the freezer door, proceed to push the infrared panel on the left to a flat position and to verify the results of the diagnosis on the right panel. If the light flashes red the electronic panel is bad and if the light doesn't flash the icemaker is bad. Can any on this be verified for me as I can't afford to have a "specialist" look at it. Please advise. Thanks
