Originally thought it was an icemaker issue but icemaker passes self test OK. Turned off switch on icemaker and put store bought ice in icemaker. Over the course of a day, the ice melts and refreezes in freezer compartment on shelves and walls. Put small thermometer in freezer and spot checks show readings of 10 to 15°F while display shows -1°. I suspect it gets warmer than that to melt ice... I reset refrig once by unplugging for 15 minutes. That seemed to work OK for 2-3 days and then problem re-appeared. Is there a fan in the freezer? If there is I don't hear it running. Closing freezer door switch turns off light but I don't hear any fan start. Could that be part of the problem?
