Default KitchenAid Suberba - Walter Filter Leaks
Model Number: Superba   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 1 - 5 years

When water is connected and water filter cartridge is in the housing, the water leaks out (really, it gushes out) under the filter housing. If I take out the filter cartridge, it does not leak. Any idea what the problem is? This is a Kitchen Aid Superba fridge, probably about 2 years old. I cannot find a model number sticker on it.

Thanks,
Matthew

In order to provide most accurate advise we need the complete model number of the refrigerator. The "model number locator" should help you to find it.

Default No Model Number

I cannot find the model number. The sticker appears to be missing. I have used your model number locator and also the guidelines on the KitchenAid site. It looks identical to the KSCS22QFWH01, except that that model doesn't seem to have the circular hole for the filter at the bottom (by the toe-kick).
