Model Number: ET4WSKXKQ02   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years   

AFTER INSTALLING DEFROST TIMER PART #482493 ACCORDING TO SUPPLIED DIRECTIONS MY REFRIGERATOR SEEMED INOPERATABLE. I PLUGGED THE OLD ONE BACK IN AND IT RESUMED WORKING AGAIN. IS IT A DEFECTIVE PART, INSTALLATION ERROR, OR DO I NEED TO TURN THE TIMER TO START? PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME!
