After returning home after a three month absence, I found that the icemaker would over flow with water when refilling and wouldn't stop filling. I had to shut off the water supply to the refrigerator. The refrigerator/freezer was on during my absence and I believe that the ice bar was in the up or off position. I don't know how the icemaker shuts off the water when the icemaker bin is full of water. I thought that I could shut off the freezer until thawed and start it up again with the idea that something was frozen and preventing the unit from shutting off the water supply to the icemaker. Any help would be much appreciated.
