Fridge not cooling
Model Number: MZD2766GE Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Fridge is warm and freezer condensor is iced up. I understand it to be 1 of 2 things. Either the Defrost Assy. (circuit board) is bad or the defrost/heater and thermostat assy. is bad. I removed the defrost heater and thermostat assembly for possible replacement, but was wondering what the appropriate procedure is to test it with an ohmmeter?
Also, how would I test the Defrost Assy. Circuit Board located in the upper right of the fridge compartment? I just want to make sure I buy the right part the first time. Please help. Any advice or test procedures would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
