I was wandering about the replacement of the cup drive on the ice maker. It seeems that everytime that we use the crushed ice on the refridgerator the plastic cup drive always seems to break or even crack. After replacing the cup drive which goes around the auger the part always fail, now is this due to the fact ghat the part is plastic? And if not then what is the correct way to place it on the drive motor so that this does not happen? Is there a wrong way or whagt is the right way?

Make sure you disassembled and reassembled the ice bucket in the right way. The instructions are attached to the reply.

Thank you for your response, but my question to you is how do I align the cujp drive onto the drive motor after I have installed it onto the auger so that the cup drive does not break off? :)

Sorry for the delay.

It should self align if it's installed properly.
