I'm glad you were able to find the way how to fix it. It is not worth to fix the old ice maker because the rate of success is very low. The part number for the new ice maker is AP2984633 Here are the break down diagrams and the parts list for the Whirlpool refrigerator Model ED5FHEXNS00 Gene.
