cybolt, did you ever get this working? We you able to find where the water line comes in behind the recess panel? I have this problem in my GE side-by-side now, and I'd like to run a new water line.

I know this was a while back, but if you remember anything it might really help me. Thanks.

when the inside of the freezer door was taken off to replace a broken line on our GE profile side by side, #TFX27PF,TFT27PF, there was foam covering everything and could'nt figure out how to get to the water line. Does this foam come off or are we unable to replace the broken line?

Try to carefully clean out your way to the water tube. You probably can remove part of that foam to get to the tube and then reinstall it. Place the new tube as far as possible from the inner door panel.

Thanks Gene. It had a small hole in from the bottom of the door area and we put some tape on it today that a guy at Home depot told us to use. So far it stopped the leak. Will update if it does not hold up.

Also the water runs slowly from the spout.
