Default 76 Viking Chest Freezer sometimes cuts out in start cycle
Model Number: FR DH 618   Brand: -other-   Age: More than 10 years

Thought my freezer was kaput as it repeatedly kept trying to start and quit (start cycle, compressor kick in, then after about 10 seconds sometimes just click and quit before compressor started) Unplugged for half hour+, plugged back in - same results. Left it plugged in overnight, next a.m. running fine for a week or so.
This has repeated a couple of times.
The compressor seems to run fine once it keeps going, maintaining close to 0 deg. F.
Compressor (made in Italy marked "R 12 3.5 FLA 30 LRA) seems to be running at normal temp, with front of cabinet feeling warm as usual. Once started sounds are normal.

As compressor seems o.k., what is the problem? Starting relay?

Does this unit have a plug in relay, and is a replacement available? or other parts.

Could this be a result of low line voltage from time to time?

Help please, I have a load of frozen plums, blueberries & Blackberries in there for hobby wine making, And my upright is currently fairly full.
