Frigidaire problem
Model Number: frs26xgcw2 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
Frigdaire Gallery man. date 3-96
freezer not getting cold enough to freeze ice cream. refriderator side not getting cold about 50 deg. I have checked evaporator, it is only 1/3 frosted. condensor coils have been cleaned.defrost timer has been changed. pleas help. Ads By Google Related Models

Check the low side pressure
Tap the icebox and see if the low side pressure is at least 5 PSI
That is what I would do.

Frig won't get cold
I had this problem...the cyclic defroster was froze up with ice. Turn off, use blow dryer to defrost iced up defroster. Mine was a GE profile. Defroster was located inside a freezer panel..removed 4 screws..lots of ice build up. Then worked fine
