Model Number: SSL27RGRC BS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Hey Gang,
I have a GE Select side by side. The problem is that the ice drops into the chute but it wont open the trapdoor that lets it drop into the glass. I can open the door and give the ice a little nudge and it will dump the whole chute full of ice out of the door at one time. The chute is clean. It did have a little ice build up at the seal but I cleaned it out. I also removed the rubber door"flapper" cleaned it and reinstalled but still no help. Also sometimes you will hear a piece of ice drop out on the floor all on its own like it was caught in the door. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill |

1. Check solenoid in the door.
2. Check board in the door. 3. Check wiring. |
