Hi all,
The J Nut, (part AP3426332), that holds the "Drive Auger Disp",Part Number: (AP3795799),broke off, so I replaced it. This is a GE hotpoint machine.

The new J Nut broke within an hour at the same place. It looks like the torque from the motor broke it when the ice was being crushed.

I got two nuts but I'm wondering if there is a certain way the the two components should be attached. Even though it appeared the J Nut was attached correctly, there did seem to be a lot give between it and the Drive Auger Disp. Should the motor be removed before the components are replaced?
