The freezer on my Amana refrigerator, Model ABB2227DEW, is taking the temperature to -20 F inspite of any freezer adjustments. Coils are clean and all fans are working. Control board troubleshooting tests show both fresh food and freezer thermistor test as passing. The unit was moved about 1 month ago but appeared fine after the move. Suggestions are appreciated.

sounds like either a bad thermistor, part # Part number: AP4005765
Part number: AP4005765
, or a faulty control board, part # Part number: AP4366538
Part number: AP4366538
.

Thanks for the reply. Is the refrigerator self test reliable - i.e. if it says the freezer thermistor "passes", is it likely OK? Also, is there a way to verify that the control board needs to be replaced?

The reliability of the self-diagnostic lies with the control board. If the control board is faulty, you can get a false report. Chances are, however, that the thermistor is indeed ok; but it may be prudent to replace them both.
