Default Heater not working
Model Number: FRS26HF5AW3   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

Coil under panel in the back center of the freezer freezes and will not defrost automatically causing both the freezer and the fresh food sections to become warm. Can you help?

Default Heater replacement imminent

Be sure to replace the defrost thermostat while you are at it. The only way I know to do it is get a hairdryer out and defrost the coils. Clean the icebox and replace the heater coil and terminator thermostat. Oil the little fan motor and replace the timer. They are all the same age and if you are gonna overhaul the defrost system you may as well replace all 3 defrost Items. Timer, heater, defrost (terminator) thermostat.
