Default water valve

The double water valve that your water supply connects to is probably bad. One side of that valve supply's the water to the dispenser and the other side delivers water to the ice maker. The solenoid on the water dispensing side is probably shot. Anyway it is easy to fix and you won't have to pay a dude to replace it.

The water valve was replaced about 3 months ago. How I go about fixing the solenoid? Thanks for your help.

Default If the water valve is ok

To me if you have the water valve replaced that is about as far as you can go with it. You could do more harm than good from this point on.
