My freezer is defrosting so long it melts the ice and refreezes on the inside of door and bottom of freezer. The temp in the refirgerator is warmer that I think is should be but might be a result of this defrost timing issue. I have already replaced the mother board. Please help. Thanks

Sounds like the defrost thermostat is toast. It is supposed to turn off the heater once the ice/frost is melted off the coils.

Is the freezer fan running during defrost? Rather rare the defrost thermostat shorts, I would suspect something else.

Ok I repalced the defrost t-stat and it seems to have helped but still seeing a little bit of ice melting and refreezing them together???

I would replace both freezer thermistors, short plastic white items, one on top of the evaporator and one on the bottom.
