Model Number: GSS25WGMD BB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My freezer is defrosting so long it melts the ice and refreezes on the inside of door and bottom of freezer. The temp in the refirgerator is warmer that I think is should be but might be a result of this defrost timing issue. I have already replaced the mother board. Please help. Thanks

Replacement parts for General Electric GSS25WGMDBB Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com Sounds like the defrost thermostat is toast. It is supposed to turn off the heater once the ice/frost is melted off the coils. Part number: AP3884317
