Hi,

Just moved into a house with an existing Whirlpool ED25RF side-by-side fridge.

Water only trickles out of the water dispenser and the ice maker is only making a few cubes of ice per day.

I replaced the filter to no avail. I turned up the temp in an attempt to "unfreeze the lines", but that didn't help either.

Removed the water line from the valve and it trickles out of the wall line.

Any suggestions?

Check the water supply to the fridge water solenoid. If it trickles out, you have a bad saddle valve on a house water pipe, should be fixed soon as this could cause problems like the valve sticking open!
