Default My refirgerator only works with colder setting
Model Number: TFX25PP   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

When I set the temp control to 3-6, everything in the freezer melted. It's running normally if I set the temp control to 7-9. I think the temp control is bad (part #WR9X599). Can I replace it myself? Thank.

Sure seems like a bad cold control, just make sure you get the original factory part.
