The unsafe temperature alarms sounds regularly, but the freezer temp and contents are fine. I have increased temp control on freezer to +5, which silenced the alarm for a couple days but now it is sounding again.

Is this just a defective temperature sensor? Can I disconnect the alarm or do I need to replace something. If replacement is needed, where is the location of the item needing replacement?

Did you measure the temperature in the freezer?

Gene.

we don't have a cold temperature thermometer. But things like popsicles and frozen fruit are already thawing so guess we need to call a repairman.
