I have replaced the evaporator fan, thermistor, and control panel. The fan needed to be replaced six months ago, but the other parts were replaced on what I belive to be bad advice( that I paid for). I have good cold airflow in both freezer and fridge, what is happening is, the damper in the top back of the fridge is closing when the tempature gets down to 39 or 40 degrees on the highest setting(7). The fridge continues to run, but now cold air is unable to reach the fresh food compartment. Is there a thermostat in the damper that may be bad, or should I throw a damper control at it and see if that sticks.
Thanks Marlow.
