My icemaker was not getting any water to make ice. I cleaned out the water "in line filter" (which was almost completely closed due to calcification, etc over the years) to the dual water valve. Still no water. Ordered and replaced the dual acutuator water valve. Still no water. Turns out the pipe which dispenses the water which enters the inside of the door to the ice tray was frozen solid. Easily removed it, thawed it out and cleaned, replaced and WOW!, Water and Ice Cubes.
NOW, my question: The switch on the front of the door "cubes-ice-crushed" will not dispense cubes. There is an arm that runs underneath the ice pan to the inside back, left of the mechanism that turns the auger, which dispenses the ice and obiviously is inserted into a receptacle lever there. What position should the receptor be in when inserting the ice pan?
