Replacing ice maker and new icemaker has round 4 prong electrical plug.
Old ice maker does not and has plug in directly to icemaker head. Can I disconnect round plug from new Ice maker and plug in existing plug direct to new ice maker? Both are flat Looks like it would fit except color of wires are idfferent. Both plug have 4 wires.

Thanks

Where did you get this ice maker from? Is it original Sub-Zero part?

Gene.

It is a sub zero ice maker with round plug wire harness. Can I not use the harness and plug in directly with wire plug that is not in the freezer. The ice maker that I am replacing is not the original and I think it had a harness if my memory serves me correctly.

What was wrong with the old ice maker? Does the old harness have a fusible link in it?

Gene.
