Model Number: MSD2641KEB Brand: Maytag Age: Less than 1 year
Brand new maytag side by side has a vibrating compressor. When you get near it, it quits. I assume this is because I am on a crawl space and the extra weight on the floor near the frig causes a shift in the frig's angle slighty?? I can physically move the frig a bit and the noise goes away. It returns however in a little while.
Do I need to tighten the mounting bolts on the compressor? It is a rather annoying noise. Also, any reviews on this brand of frig? Good or Bad? This is my first Maytag product. Any advice is appreciated!! Wade |

Remove back panel and look for vibrating condenser coils or a compressor mount thats loose. If the noise is internal to the compressor, call for warranty repair.
