and noticed there is about 5 relays in there. Relay model # -812H-1A-S
so i took the back of a screw driver and hit the bottom right relay (how lucky that i hit the right relay), i saw a small spark and then the compressor started. 30 minutes later the frig started to cool and now it's working.

My question is if I change this board, is there anything else that needs to change to comply with the new board? is there a resistor? i searched this forum and on a differen frig, someone mentioned a "sensor ff??" to be bought also.

has the controller on this site been updated since my frig came out in 2002?

(fyi, i had some problems with ice maker not making enough ice/etc, even when i pushed the quick ice button.). willl a controller board fix that problem too?

it seems as if i have a faulty controller board.
