Hi,

First time posting here! We have a fairly new Frigidaire side-by side Refridgerator/Freezer. During and after the hurricane, we had numerous power-outtages with outtages sometimes as long as 10 hours. Our ice machine has never been the same since. We've tried emptying it completely, defrosting it, and putting it back in, but it spits out water and/or makes only a few cubes of ice.

Does it sound like there is a short? We're debating as to just replacing the whole thing with an ice-maker kit from this website, or if we need to have a repair person come in and look at it.
