Searching for discontinued refrigerator parts, Amana part # 10202001 or Maytag # PT8970. Any help appreciated.

Once a part is discontinued, it's almost impossible to find it brand new. I would recommend going to a local store that sells used refrigerators. A lot of these stores rebuild and repair the fridges in the back and always have tons of used shelves, clips, etc. Tell them you need a retainer for a door shelf for an Amana refrigerator (this retainer was a pretty common one and covered a lot of Amana models), show them a picture from our site.

We are working on a new classified section on our site. We hope to make the classified section some what like the ******** stores.

The dealers will be able to list all there old parts stock and members will be able to place wanted classifieds ads for parts they are looking for.
