I have changed the front controls/switches but that wasn't the problem. The power seems to be coming to the switches in the control board when tested with ohm meter...but no reaction form the ice, water, or light. What could be the problem...is there another possible solution for this fix?

yes it has a lock and unlock...and it is in the unlocked position.

You could start by checking the freezer door light switch (pic below)
This switch turns on the interior light when the door is open
but when closed it sends power to the control lock switch.
Then the control lock switch sends power to the switches
in the dispenser ( the ones you replaced).


First make sure that the freezer door is actually pushing the switch
all the way in. Sometimes a door that’s out of adjustment can keep it
from getting pressed in far enough for the switch to make
contact. One test that you can do is to simply have the
door open and press the switch in by hand, then check to
see if the dispenser operates.

You can pull the wires off the switch and use your meter
to see if there is continuity between the two terminals that
the black and blue wires are connected to while having the switch pushed in.
They may have the terminals on the switch numbered 1-3.
If so then it would be numbers 1 and 3.
