When the compressor cycles off it makes a clunking sound. This started about a week ago.

Sounds like the compressor is on it's last legs.
Check that the clunk is in the compressor and not a bad mount or something like that.

If it is the actual compressor it may last days or months cannot really say, in any case you can no longer trust it.

I would turn it into a beer fridge where if/when it totally fails you will not loose hundreds of dollars in food.
