Default water filter head assembly GE
Model Number: PDS22MHRBCC   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years

The filter cartridge will not stay in the filter head assembly unit. Every time I install the new filter, the water pressure actually turns the cartridge and it pops out of the head assembly. You can see the cartridge turning out of the filter head that holds the filter cartridge when it is charged with the water line. I purchased a new water filter head assem. and it still pops out after I twist in the new filter cartridge. The new filter head is part #wr17x11981.Could it be the water valves? I have the interior water spout for cold water on the left side of the interior. This problem never happened before when I replaced the filter cartridge. Please help.
