I own a 15-year old Frigidaire Gallery side by side. Several years ago (!) the ice maker stopped working. I have just now gotten around to trying to fix it, inspired by my recent victory replacing the ignitor in my same generation oven.

The metal shut off arm moves as if it is going through cycles, but no ice is produced and I get a "puddle" of ice at the base of the freezer compartment. I removed the water fill tube and cleared an ice clog based on other comments on this forum which said this might be the problem, but overnight it still made no ice. I have water flow to the door water dispenser but I don't know if this is the same pump. I would appreciate any further advice! Thanks.
