I have a GE Refrigerator Adora, Model # DSS25KSRE SS. The water dispenser, Ice dispenser & Light doesn't work. The alarm, reset water filter & lock still work. When you try to get ice or water out the LED above the device goes out for 2-3 seconds then comes back on.

I just had this exact same issue. I found that the power wire that comes from under the unit, into the bottom corner of the freezer door, had corroded and came loose. I pulled the wire apart at the connector, stripped some insulation off the white wire, recrimped the tip on, and put it back into the connector. Once I attached the connectors, the power was supplied to the dispenser and all was well w/ the world again (for now).

Sounds like I have a similar issue with a different model GE model GSS25SGRFSS. I looked for the wire and didn't see in underneath. Could you explain more on where you found this wire

The wire harness in your refrigerator is on top of the freezer door.

What exactly is wrong with your refrigerator?

Thanks. First my water always freezes when I have items in the freezer door. Obviously after 5 years of putting up with that, I bought another freezer for my basement so I didn't need to store items in the door. The latest problem that just occurred is that my water, ice and crushed ice doesn't work at all. When you push the lever in the green light goes out for a few seconds, nothing happens and then the light comes back on but no water or ice is dispensed.

Sounds like the problem is a bad main control board (on the back of the refrigerator).

One other detail I failed to mention is that the light doesn't work either. I replaced the buld and still nothing.

Do you think it is still the board as you previouly mentioned

HOT BACON got it right (at least for me) ! There was a modulor connector that had a black jacket on it at the bottom left side of the freezer door.

A bit of water had gotten into the tube and corroded the wires going into the connector. I just cut the 3 wires off each end of the connector, stipped the wire back, twisted the wires together, taped the wires, and situated the taped wires so that water would drip off before the connection.

Blue to Blue, Black to Black, and Red to White

Easy!
