the refrigerator's compressor will come on and run for about 1 min. and then shuts down. will kick back on after a little while then run 1 min. and then kick out. any idea's?

Could not find info using the given model number. The following tech sheet is for a GS2SHAXKB01.

Could be a number of things.
First check that the compressor fan is running
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the overload and relay
Also check the compressor windings with a meter.
Be sure to also check them to the case/ground also(all should be infinite ohms).
If all OK
Try running it without the capacitor.
