Model Number: LFD21860ST Brand: -other- Age: 1 - 5 years
I have an LG fridge. It's a french door with bottom freezer model. Last night I opened the fridge door to find the lights were out. I checked the bulbs they were good... but I noticed that the roof inside the fridge was hot. About 15 mins. later the lights came on again. It has been doing this intermittently for over a day now. Tonight I busted out the multimeter and I tried the harness plug for the light harness (fridge side). it is a 3 pin harness. I had from left to right 120VAC (pink wire) ...GND... 0 VAC Common.
I have the same reading whether I have the door switches compressed or uncompressed. I came to the conclusion that the lights must have power constantly and that the intermittent function of them is probably because of an integrated "snap Disc" like device installed in series. I am assuming that there is not supposed to be 120 VAC constant at the plug for the light wireharness. Where might I start searching for the culprit? Thank you. Ads By Google Related Models |
