I know this Refrigator has been around but it does keep my beer cold. Problem is, my beer is freezing. I have the control set at 1 and it's still turning my wine and beer into ice. Is it the Control Temp that I can replace on line. Part AP2644414 $39.46

That is what I would replace.
I took a look at the parts breakdown and there does not seem to be a separate control to control the fresh food section temp. Usually this just closes a damper from the freezer.

You could confirm it by measuring the temperature in the freezer, should be close to 0 degrees F
