I just purchased this relay AP3156242 (GE part # WR07X10011) for my old GE TBX14SYSFRWH Refrigerator
and forgot to which of the three flat connectors I attach the wire. I know which wire goes on the overload protector which sits on the top prong, the common, of the compressor. There is one wire left to attach to one of the three flat connectors. There is one on the left and two, one above the other on the right. Can someone help me with this? I am going to be doing this soon today.

Scratch the above. Got the compressor going but the overload switch that I thought was still good keeps clicking off after about 5 minutes. Is this worth trying to replace? Or is it a symptom of a compressor that is overloading. Coils don't seem that dirty. Ideas?

Usually relay should be replaced together with overload for any refrigerator.

There is always chance for a compressor to be bad, but you would know until you'll try.

Thanks Gene. I tested the overload for continuity and it tested ok. After installing the new relay I could feel the compressor getting warm and the overload getting hot then clicking open. Could the overload still be at fault?

Overload can not be tested that way. Just replace it.
