Default GE refrigerator freezer ok frig not cool enough
Model Number: GTS221BMARWW   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

Freezer is running around zero but evaperator fan runs very slow. Son in law has replaced the evaperator fan motor but no improvement. I suspect the temp control board. Is this a good guess or could it be the main control board?

It is recommended by many pros to replace the evaporator fan motor together with the main control board (on the back of the fridge).

You can find more specific instructions in one of our previous posts: GE refrigerators (GS* & PS* models), the evaporator fan motor test and replacement.

- The part number for the main control board is AP3950129

Here are the break down diagrams for the GE refrigerator Model GTS22IBMARWW
