 How do I remove the old door handle without dismantling the door? There are no screws under the "Admiral" plate.

Just remove all the inner panel screws on the handle side, pry open the panel, and tighten the 5/16 handle screws with a socket wrench.

:mad:I removed all of the screws on the handle side but there was no 5/16 screw to remove the handle unless it is under the insulation.

Any additional help is appreciated.

Admiral Freezer model FNF17E8.

Thank you, David Hurwitz
