I put a new control board and wiring harness in, but when I pluged the refrigerator back in it did not come on. The lights work and the freezer display lit with the letters PEO

What is the model number of the fridge and what was the original problem?

the model number MFD256HES this refrigerator went through the flood we had here in dec. and a few days after when i pluged it in the control board shorted out and burned up one of the wire connections

The new control board has to be programmed after installation.

You can find the complete instructions in the service manual (page 37).
