I would remove the back panel of the fridg. and check where the noise is coming from. If the compressor, you can try a new start device on the compressor, however GE start devices rarely fail. If it's coming from the pc board, it's probably bad. Order here AP4334000

Thanks Qtip I read somewhere to shake the relay ,if it rattled it was bad.It doesn't rattle.I'm thinking it is probable the pc board, since the clicking is coming from there.Or not???? AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT....

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GS6SHEXML00 Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com Here is the wiring diagram http://www.servicematters.com/docs/w...%202255955.pdf Since both the the condenser/compressor fan and the compressor do not run odds are high that it is a problem with the control as they are wired in parallel. OR the fan also has a problem. OR the voltage is low to the compressor for some reason. If the unit has the capacitor, try running without it. Would be a good idea to measure the voltage across the fan. Could be that you are stuck in a defrost cycle. If this is the case the evaporator fan will also be off. Try running the diagnostics.
