Model Number: GSS25SGMDBS Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi, My side by side ( GE GSS25SGMDBS) refrigerator was only cold on the bottom half of both sides. I replaced the evaporator fan motor and that didn't fix the problem. I was then advised to replace the motherboard (used part #WR55X10942) so I tried that. The new motherboard isn't turning on the compressor or the evaporator fan so I put the old one back on and the compressor worked just fine but still no evaporator fan. Also when I removed the back pannel in the freezer there is light frost on the bottom third of the coils heavey frost on the middle and no frost on the top third. Any sugestions on what to try next? Thanks
