Icemaker not getting water. The icemaker is cycling through as if it is making ice but is not getting water to the tray. The water dispenser in front is working. If I pour water into the icemaker it will make ice and dump it. Is it the inlet valve?

Check the water feeding tube at the back of the ice maker for an ice build up inside.

Locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator. Swap the wires between the solenoids, push the water dispenser lever for a few seconds and check if there is water in the ice maker.

If there is water, replace the ice maker.

If there is no water and the water feeding tube is clear, replace the water inlet valve.
