Default GE Ice dispencer working intermittently.
Model Number: GSH25KGREWW   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years   
Just recently when I try to dispense ice nothing happens. When I try to get Ice the cubed/crushed ice buttons no matter which one selected the indicator light goes out when I try to get ice. and no light will come on. Does this mean what ever computer board that is controlling it is going bad? And if so is it easy to get this part and replace it? This happens intermittently but is getting more and more frequent. Any suggestions would help allot. The ice maker is working flawlessly.

Hi Bill,

Most likely the problem caused by the main control board because the ice dispenser controls by this board.

The main control board is located on the back of the fridge under the metal cover.

- The part number for the main control board is AP3950129
