The ice maker quit working. We followed the instructions and defrosted the freezer and when we turned it back on it still did not work.

[Active Appliance]

1. Check if water is ON.
2. Check if freezer temperature is normal.
3. If 1 and 2 ok then the problem is most like with icemaker, icemaker arm, or water valve.
4. Check if icemaker arm is in ON position.
5. Check if water reaches the icemaker. If not, then problem is with water valve. If yes, then problem is with icemaker.
