Refrigerator light was off so I assumed the light bulb needed to be replaced. I replaced the bulb but the light still did not come on. Also, the Temperature contol led display lights are off. Refrigerature is still cold and so is the freezer. I checked the light switch and it is not stuck.
Is there a reset button somewhere? I'm lost.

This is an old topic but still comes up in a google search for how to turn off the temperature lights on a whirlpool french door style refrigerator.

there is a sabbath mode on some models that turns off both the inside lights and all the outside lights (such as the temperature lights).
To activate it you hold down the alarm button for 3 seconds, then the display should change, you cycle through the options with the freezer + and - buttons until it shows "sab", then use the refrigerator + or - buttons to change between on and off.
I had to do this on my refrigerator, it's a GI0FSAXVY french door style (freezer on bottom) with water/ice dispensor in the door. It has 2 buttons beside the temperature read out and 8 buttons below it.

Hi.

You need to check the door switch, with the switch closed should have continuity between two contacts.(Yellow/red to yellow).
If the switch is OK - most likely it's a main control board.
