I am trying to get access to the ice flap parts but I am not able to remove the front cover housing. I see the two small slits at the bottom of the front cover housing but there doesn't seem to be anything to push when I insert a small tool. I have tried to pull the cover from the sides but it seems like it is secured from the inside. I have used a lot of force but it doesn't release, and I mean "A lot" of force. Any more and I am sure it will break.
Does anyone know how to remove the Front Cover Housing on this model?

Does anyone know how to remove the Front Cover Housing on this model? i was able to pop the cover by putting a screw driver into those bottom slots and by slowly increasing pressure the cover popped. you are correct though, it appears you might break the cover. maybe try both slots at once
